A native of middle Tennessee, Marty Davenport now resides in the rural community of Milton, TN, with his wife, Lisa. Together, they live on 21 acres in a custom-built barndominium, sharing their home with their cat, Skor, and rescue dog, Elli. Marty and Lisa have two adult sons, Stefan and Maelan.

Marty’s journey into the mortgage industry began on September 11, 2001—his first full-time day as a loan officer. Originally working in IT, Marty was tasked with setting up a network for a small mortgage broker. In getting to know the company, he was captivated by the opportunity to help people achieve homeownership and decided to make it his career.

With over two decades of experience, Marty takes an educational approach to his work, empowering clients to optimize credit, manage debt, and leverage unique loan opportunities to build wealth. He promises integrity and a time-tested, consistent process that alleviates the stress often associated with obtaining a loan. Marty’s dedication to his clients and referral partners is grounded in his belief that relationships are the cornerstone of success, and he values the connections that make his work fulfilling.

Outside of work, Marty enjoys improving his land and home, cooking, woodworking, weightlifting, reading, and shooting. He also has a budding passion for blacksmithing, having taken a beginner’s course and aspiring to set up a forge at home one day.
